Discretionary Grant Application Outcome Notice

Dear Valued Stakeholders

 Thank you to all of the stakeholders that submitted applications for Discretionary Grant (DG) funding in the previous open window for the 2023/24 financial year.

The MICT SETA is now working to complete all of the screenings and evaluations of applications that were received between the 1st of September 2022 and the 30th of September 2022. Final communication regarding the outcome will be issued by the end of April 2023.  

The MICT SETA is now carrying out compliance verification, desktop vetting, and on-site vetting in order to establish the capacity of stakeholders to implement the programmes.

It is vital to highlight that the DG window was heavily oversubscribed, making it impossible to accept all applications. This is due to the fact that the APP objectives have been met, while on the other hand, the annual budget has also been completely exhausted.
