The Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) invites suitably qualified and experienced industry professionals to apply for registration as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
The SME pool supports the facilitation and assessment of occupational qualifications registered on the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework (OQSF), ensuring that training and assessment practices remain relevant, credible, and aligned with current industry standards.
Purpose of SME Registration
The SME pool is a critical mechanism that enables MICT SETA to uphold high-quality implementation of occupational qualifications. Registered SMEs play a direct role in strengthening South Africa’s skills development ecosystem within the MICT sector.
