Let’s hear it for the Nerds!

The MICT SETA continues to work with local communities to assist the efforts of the national government to reduce youth unemployment in the country. During the 2019-2020 financial year, 54 unemployed youth from the Northern Cape Province benefited from the MICT SETA funded learnership. 

The learners gained meaningful skills that they can use to find permanent employment and start their businesses.  All learners that completed the programme will receive Information Technology: Systems Support NQF Level 5 certificates.

The key partners in the programme were Dial-a-Nerd, Siyancuma Local Municipality, and Sebeta Municipal Solutions.
