Outcome of DG Funding Window (Closed on 4 July 2024) 

Dear Valued Stakeholders,

The MICT SETA would like to thank all applicants who participated in the MICT SETA Discretionary Grant Advertisement Window which closed on 4 July 2024.

Stakeholders who have been shortlisted will receive communication for the site vetting due diligence process, which is designed to assess the capacity of the stakeholders to train and host learners.

All stakeholders who do not receive confirmation of site vetting by 31 January 2025 should consider their application unsuccessful. Stakeholders whose applications were unsuccessful are encouraged to apply for the 2026/2027 DG funding window, which will be announced before the end of 2025.

Important Reminder:

DG funding allocations are at the discretion of MICT SETA and are determined by the Annual Performance Plan targets and the allocated budget. Therefore, stakeholders are not entitled to receive the DG grant.

NB: The MICT SETA DG funding window was oversubscribed, surpassing both the SETA’s Annual Performance Plan targets and planned budget.
