NOTICE TO STAKEHOLDERS IMPLEMENTING MICT SETA FUNDED PROGRAMMES

Dear Valued Stakeholder

In the past few months, we have had several complaints where Learners are not paid their stipends on time or not paid at all.

The MICT SETA reminds all Stakeholders to pay learners their stipends on time. Stakeholders that are not honouring the commitment of paying Learners their stipends risk being flagged as restricted suppliers and may not be eligible for discretionary grant funding from the SETA in the future.

Stakeholders who fail to pay Interns their stipends or neglect to meet the terms and conditions of the SLA signed with the MICT SETA also risk having their SLAs with the SETA be terminated.
