Urgent Notice on Board Nomination Process

ERRATUM

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO SERVE ON THE MEDIA INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES SECTOR EDUCATION AND TRAINING AUTHORITY (MICT SETA) BOARD FOR THE TERM: 1 APRIL 2025 TO 31 MARCH 2030

The initial advert stated that nominations for Accounting Authority members must be submitted with proof of background checks and verifications (SAPS clearance and qualifications verification). Considering the deadlines for submission of nominations, it is impractical for nominated candidates to have proof of all necessary checks and verifications ready by the deadline date.

Stakeholders are hereby notified  that the necessary background checks and verifications will only be finalised at a later date with the suitable candidates identified for appointment. Only the following documents must be submitted with nominations by 29 November 2024:

  1. Nomination/motivation letter Acceptance of nomination 3. Curriculum Vitae 4. Certified copies of qualifications 5. Certified copy of identity document 6. Declaration of Interest
